Bronwyn Ellis | Secretary-General
Culminating her fifth and final year of Model United Nations, Bronwyn is beyond honoured and ecstatic to be serving as the Secretary-General for SMUSMUN 2026. Having started MUN in Grade 8 after coming to SMUS, she quickly fell in love with the fast-paced discussions on actual topics, focusing on real solutions instead of sitting back and watching adults do it. While MUN unfortunately doesn’t have real-world implementations, it drove her to pursue a passion for human rights and international relations. When not on her computer or at a MUN conference, Bronwyn can be found behind the scenes of her school musical and reading in bed. She wishes all delegates an incredible SMUSMUN and cannot wait to meet each and every delegate.

Juno Williams | Deputy-Secretary-General
Juno has had some of her best moments from hours of research, last-minute submission on papers, and the Chinese invasion of Kuwait. In other words, her participation in Model United Nations. Entering her Grade 11 year, she is thrilled to continue her experience of high school and to enter her 5th year of MUN. Coming to a new school can be anxiety-inducing, but, having the honour of being the Deputy Secretary-General for SMUSMUN 2026 makes it a little less scary. Other than the race to raise her placard, Juno participates in local sailing, volleyball, Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, and youtube rabbit holes. She strongly believes that Model United Nations can be the foundation for any youth who has the imagination and the courage to defend their beliefs. “Fight for the things that you care about. But do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” - Ruth Bader Ginsburg
